Calf starter moves a calf from the milk feeding period to dry feeding, and no other feedstuff plays a larger role in rumen development. S.P. Calf Starter is palatable and nutritious, made with high quality ingredients and enough minerals and vitamins to promote rapid adaptation to solid feed.
Fed from day four through two months of age and continued until the calf reaches 70 to 80 kg body weight, it supplies up to 75 percent of a calf's energy and protein in the first 12 weeks of life.
